The town that gives its name to the designation and the historic centre of its wine-making activity. Cariñena concentrates a relevant part of the wine-making structure and represents the institutional and productive centre of the PDO.

From here, a large part of the evolution of the region is articulated, where tradition and the development of the sector have progressed together.
