Hacienda Molleda 

Hacienda Molleda is situated in the centre of the estate, surrounded by its vineyards and with beautiful views of the Sierra de Algairén mountains. A beautiful building in the Mudejar style, with brick walls and round arched windows, in keeping with the Mudejar tradition of the area. The Meléndez Molleda family, heir to a long wine-making tradition in Cariñena, decided in 2000 to start this project to produce wines with grapes from their own vineyards. Wines with a marked varietal character, reflecting the terroir and made mainly with the indigenous varieties Garnacha and Cariñena.

The Meléndez-Molleda family winery is located in Tosos, in the province of Zaragoza (north-eastern Spain), at an altitude of 750 metres above sea level, on a hill surrounded by a sea of vines. The highest winery in the Cariñena PDO.
